
Our Aim is to improve the quality of life for each individual, so, if for you, that is to improve your quality of movement and overall sense of wellbeing, or to recover from injury or strains, or recover and improve the quality of life after disease or illness, then our mission is to help you to achieve your goal and/or set new and improved goals.
This is done in one of two ways, that are respectful and gentle to the individual needs of each person.
Functional Integration (or FI for short) whereby Through soft gentle touch, done on a table, fully clothed, a Feldenkrais Method Practitioner slowly and elegantly follows your unique patterns of movement and introduces new alternative patterns of movement.
Awareness Through Movement (or ATM for short) is when the Feldenkrais Practitioner guides you through a series of soft, gentle but scientifically developed movements. This leads to your own exploration of yourself and how you move and by doing so creates an Awareness and Mindfulness for yourself. It is extremely beneficial for all areas of your life! It is done in either single person or in groups of people. They are called classes and are in person at a venue and also given online usually weekly. There are also workshops designed to address specific areas of concern eg. walking, cycling, swimming, eyes, back, neck, shoulders, chair lessons etc.
